Celebrating 100 years of the Greensprings Highway
A presentation will be given by Todd Kepple (Director, Klamath County Museum) and George Kramer (Historic Preservation Consultant) in both Klamath Falls and Ashland.
On June 1st, the public is invited for a “History of the Highway” auto tour along the Greensprings Highway from 10 am - 3 pm. Trained interpreters will be stationed at eight featured locations along the route to share stories about the history of the wonderful, winding road. Signs will mark each of the stops. Virtual and PDF versions of the auto tour map will be available at www.greenspringscentennial.org including a list of key stops and additional landmarks to observe along the way.
