Explore the Rogue: Gooseberries (okay, Currants) and Gravel Pits
Join us on a 3-hour romp up Lower Table Rock. Explore the plants in the three different plant communities along the hike up the mesa and explore the Rogue River from the "bird's eye view" provided at the top. The view from atop Lower Table Rock reveals land use patterns, natural resource trends, and community development over the past 150 years along the Rogue and Bear Creek. Our resident botanist is looking forward to sharing her knowledge of the wildflowers you'll encounter! Carpool leaves Rogue River Watershed Council office (89 Alder St, Central Point) at 8:15 am; or meet us at the trailhead off of Wheeler Road at 8:50 am.
