Friday the 13th- Haunted History Walking Tour
Do strange things happen on Friday the 13th? Is it really unlucky? It might prove to be a lucky day, or in this case night, for those who join Historic Jacksonville, Inc. for one of our special Friday the 13th Haunted History walking tours!
"Ghoulies, ghosties, and long-legged beasties" (not to mention the spirits that still linger in our National Historic Landmark District buildings) will be out in force on Friday, September 13. There will be two different Haunted History walking tours offered at two different times: The Courthouse route tour at 7 and 7:30pm highlights brothels, epidemics, and hangings. And the Britt Hill route tour at 7:15 and 7:45pm features tales of murder, arson, saloons, and Chinatown.
Tours last about an hour and cover approximately one mile each. Tours leave from Jacksonville's Visitors Center at 185 N. Oregon Street (the corner of Oregon and West C streets).
