Hanley Farm Welcomes the Rogue Valley Genealogical Society!
July 22 the Rogue Valley Genealogical Society (RVGS) is the farm’s featured guest. Every Sunday, up to and including September 2, Hanley Farm is open for family picnicking, Hanley House tours, self-guided tours of the farm, and tours of Shakespeare’s Garden conducted by Rhonda Nowak, the “Bard’s Garden” creator. In addition, Rhonda offers demonstrations of Shakespearean food and beverages that are mentioned in Shakespeare’s plays, a couple of which will be available for sale in the pavilion. RVGS is the farm’s featured guest July 1, and again July 22. Visit the farm, bring a picnic, take a tour of the gardens and the house, and be sure to visit with RVGS members. Come with questions about your heritage. RVGS volunteers will help to answer your questions and show you how you can begin your own personal research. It starts with your question and an online search for information. This is a unique opportunity for you to enjoy a family picnic, tour the farm, house and gardens AND learn about your “roots”! What more could one ask for?
