Twilight on the Terrace
July means it's time for some of our favorite events: the "Twilight on the Terrace" summer wine club release (Friday, July 14th, 4-9pm), movie night, and comedy night. Details below.
Our July wine release is tailored to the weather: light reds, lots of whites, and the re-release of our Sparkling Chardonnay after a two-year hiatus. But we must warn fans of the dry Rose of Grenache and the sweet, fruity Ruby Rose. We expect to run out of both in the next few weeks, at which point we'll have to wait until April/May for more.
Need even more ways to enjoy Oregon summer? Come see us in the tasting room to get four "anytime tickets" to the Medford Rogues baseball games with the purchase of canned wine, while supplies last. And on the drive up, look for the newest addition to the Hummingbird vineyard: Verdelho, a Portuguese white varietal we are thrilled to bring to the Rogue Valley.

SUMMER PICKUP PARTY
FRIDAY, JULY 14TH

As always, there will be music (Redwood Empire, 5-7pm), food bites (Susan is still deciding what she wants to pair with summer weather and Sparkling Chardonnay), and wines that are only available during the release party. Members are especially encouraged to bring guests to the summer release, as we take full advantage of our lawn and courtyard seating. Best of all is the chance to view the valley during Hummingbird's "golden hour," as the sun sets behind the hills. RSVP to wine@hummingbirdestate.com.
